A Perfect Winter Day on Bryce Mountain

Welcome to Bryce Resort – your family’s winter wonderland! Start your perfect winter day at Bryce with breakfast at the Shenandoah Center. The grill opens when the lift’s bull wheel starts turning. Warm up before heading out with coffee for mom and dad, and hot chocolate for the kiddos.

Once warm and full, drop the kids off at the Horst Locker Snowsports school. Take advantage of a two-hour lesson so you can make some runs and explore the trails. Whether you need a break or waiting for the kids’ lesson to end, grab beverage at Carter’s Hutte, the Resort’s slope-side bar. Get warm by the fire pits and make some new friends! Most don’t realize that Bryce Resort is member-owned and managed, which is why it seems like so many folks know each other and creates an always-festive, welcoming experience.  You’ll find members happy to share stories about their favorite ski runs and Bryce Resort memories.

After you make a run or two to see what the kids learned, pop back into the Shenandoah Center for a quick lunch before your Snow Tubing reservation. Tubing sessions are 90 minutes of family fun (height restrictions apply). Do the kids still have energy to burn? Then take them ice skating at the family friendly ice rink. It’s available as an “add on” to your snow tubing ticket.

Relax after skiing with dinner at the Copper Kettle, the Resort’s renovated slope-side bar & restaurant. Enjoy good drinks, good food and hot chocolate. Reservations are required via Open Table for those wishing to dine at a table; however, reservations are not required for bar seating – if you can find an empty stool. If one day just isn’t enough to enjoy all that Bryce Resort has to offer, stay for the weekend at our slope side condos or mountain chalets. Many of our properties have wood burning fireplaces (with firewood provided) or gas logs, and some have hot tubs, saunas and/or Jacuzzi tubs. The convenience is tough to beat!
